About the Project
The following text is copied from the original site, a new about page will be written shortly:
If you somehow have gotten to this page, then someone must have sent you this pretty link that greets you with the beautiful calligraphy of 岡崎最高. Basically, this is a project which collects messages and illustrations addressed to Key to commemorate their 10th Anniversary (technically that’s July 21, 1998) in English. These messages will then be compiled into a letter by whoever that wishes to volunteer, in both English and Japanese. The letter is now set for a delivery date of September 8, 2009, the 9th Anniversary of Air.
In order to meet this projected date, messages and illustrations will be accepted until at least a week before the said release date. The letter will then be compiled, as a number of illustrations are being picked from the entries. The letter will be printed in A4 papers, while the illustrations will be printed in glossy photo paper. The envelope must be postmarked three days prior to the compilation’s release date in order to keep the project under a low budget while delivering on time. If this date cannot be met, dates will be rescheduled to meet the release date for Air’s tenth anniversary.
Please submit your messages and illustrations to Key in the Submission board, and discuss about anything Key-related in the Discussion Board. Please note that offensive language, explict artwork, and illustrations not created by you (which includes screen captures, as a recent trend) are strictly forbidded. While this remains to be debated, all illustrations featuring Key characters most likely fall as derivative works. If, for some reason, they do not, or your illustrations do not include any Key characters (such as having only starfish, taiyaki, or dango), you agree to allow the Key 10th Anniversary Letter Project to publish your work.
